The following are required for AstraSync to work:
• A supported BlackBerry Smartphone. AstraSync has been tested with a wide variety of devices from the most popular carriers, including all of the most recent BlackBerry Smartphones such as the Curve, Pearl, Bold and Storm models. AstraSync does not work with OS version 4.1 or earlier.
• An available data connection. AstraSync can use:
o A Wi-Fi connection with internet access
o A cellular connection with data transfer capability.
• The simplest way to test your data connection is to bring up a browser and navigate to a public website. If your device can browse the web, AstraSync should be able to connect.
• AstraSync is designed to work on BlackBerry OS 4.2 and higher. It is not supported on OS 4.1 on any carrier. In general, this means that all modern devices such as the Pearl, Curve, Bold and Storm will work correctly whatever the cellular carrier. AstraSync internal testing concentrates on the US carriers Verizon, ATT and T-Mobile while our customers have proved the application on other carriers across the world.
