Most users install AstraSync over the air, but it is also possible to install using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager program, which will then install the program next time you connect the device.
To download and install using Desktop Manager, follow these steps:
1. Log into the AstraSync portal at https://www.astrasync.com/portal
2. Click the ‘Request a new download link by email for Desktop Install’ link under ‘Actions’
3. Download the AstraSync .zip file to your PC from the link in the email you receive
4. Extract the zip file to your computer
5. Use Desktop Manager ‘Application Loader’ to install AstraSync using the files extracted from the zip
6. Once AstraSync
has installed click ‘Run’ and step through the setup guide at https://www.astrasync.com/portal/setup2.aspx
